"Design"-original design

The design of kyo-yuzen designer Toru Kihara who handled the kyo-yuzen kimono design of movie "Inner halls of a palace".
The wild cherry tree and the autumn tint are the original designs written for the kyo-yuzen lantern.

"clothing fabric" −Real Silk−

The synthetic material material was not used at all, and limited to the most expensive silk cloth (Real silk) so that valuing the material feeling and touch.

"Paintworks" -Type Dye Method-

The type frame of each arrangement of color is set up in the kyo-yuzen , and the dyestuff liquid of each color is ground to the cloth, it crowds, and it is dyed with dyed "Type Dye method". The number of sheets of the carving type caused by the design reaches more than 12 pieces and the one color is dyed up by the dye workman.

"Design Pattern" -Kyo-yuzen, Long-sleeved dress, flower at four seasons-

Use without regretting the design in the long-sleeved dress and the back part where it stuck to the designs most in the kyo-yuzen kimono. The design basically chooses the flower at the four seasons as the theme and handle which are suited with the main body of each lantern. Moreover, because the design is kept as a design pattern, it is never lost by the season and the fashion.

"Main body of lantern"　−Kyoto traditional craft workman's handmade taste−

The main body of the lantern was made up of handmade of workmen of "Kyoto traditional craft". To emphasize glossy of the kyo-yuzen, workman's sticking to has never been left in the detail though it stuck to simple shape in an unostentatious manner as much as possible than the kyo-yuzen.

Kyoto Wooden Fitting...

It is a lantern that made the best use of the woodwork technology of "kyoto fittings" by the folding screen and the sliding door making. Wood can substitute the handle frame by using the Japanese cypress like Yuki-mi shoji by a detailed cutting down crowding. Moreover, to radiate the lamp in the lantern, a thin slit is put in the upper part of design frame.

Painting....

Final coating three times is finished up repeatedly by using "Cashew paints" near not the urethane painting used for the industrial commodity but the lacquer paints for the main body painting. It keep Japanese luster feeling and the smell of mimicry like the lacquer for a long term, which is not possible to do in using industrial urethane painting.

Kyoto Bamboo Crafts....

Kyoto where a lot of buildings by bamboo material processing exist from of old. It is called, "Kyoto signature bamboo", and is requested a lot of demand from the whole country by the goodness of the quality and the technology of the bamboo craft now.

A cylindrical bamboo cylinder lantern was created with the kyoto signature bamboo. The bamboo is knit by parching it with the burner and a thin bamboo material is knit by bending, and using an acrylic board of the Dragon pattern for an accurate circle for the top board.
Stuck to "Form of a cylinder" well of overheating of the bamboo, and made a lantern peculiar getting warm feeling and loveliness to the bamboo.

Kiyomizu ware...

A famous traditional craft goods of Kyoto, Kiyomizu ware made a new kyoto lantern. Two traditional crafts that represented the kyoto, "Kyo yuzen" and "Kiyomizu ware" were united by pasting the kyo-yuzen to a cylindrical acrylic pipe and made it in the plinth part below and the lid part above.

The Kiyomizu ware is produced by "Yaki-shime" to show simple warmth in it. "Kiyomizu ware" sets off glossy of "Kyo-yuzen".

Copper plate...

The history of the lighting with the sheet copper has been made old at that time of " Gaslamp" at the beginning of the Meiji era.

"Gaslamp" that is reflected well is often made from the sheet copper processing in the photograph of the beginning of the Meiji era.

The lantern still put up to a lot of door front of the house roofs of the person of the kyoto is made by the sheet copper processing.

"Kyo-yuzen lantern" made this sheet copper sheet metal in simple shape not exaggerated, and it was and made it to outdoor floor type.

"Snake feeder" by handmade of the sheet metal workman is lovelily treated in the roof part of the lantern.

Kyo-yuzen in the frame...

Not to light the frame but to Luminescence inside.
Then, put kyo-yuzen inside it and turn on teh light.
The latest technology "EL sheet" enable it.
The sheet 1 mm thick itself emit light, and color the kyo-yuzen.

Cloth Joint Method
−Techunique of Reinforced Japanese paper and Silk Cloth Joint−

In a thin, soft silk cloth, the illuminated thing is a difficult commodity because there are a bend and loosening. Moreover, when the silk cloth is used for the direct illumination, the shape of the lamp is penetrated. This commodity has given the stir of strength and the shine to the silk cloth by pasting a constant tension to the silk cloth in cloth Ha process putting it, and sticking reinforced Japanese paper together with the original on the reverse mixture paste. The element that does the deterioration progress prevention of silk has been mixed with an original joint paste.

"Replaceable Design Pattern"
−Change clothes...−

Design frame of all apparatuses is recommended to be changed by four seasons, installation features, and customer's favorites.
Please enjoy the substitution of design frame as to change flowers or to change the hung pictures.

"Two bulb set"　−Enjoy Color of light−

The elegance greatly changes into the same design of the same arrangement of color in a general lamp color and the fluorescent lamp. To enjoy the both of customers, two lamps of a lamp color and a white fluorescent lamp are set. (The Stand lantern and Yuzen in Frame are excluded. )

"Lamp Dimmer"　−Enjoy dark and light−

Not only the color of the shine but also the elegance changes greatly only because it adjusts brightness. (A general lamp is only used. )
We will prepare the dimmer that can be used only by inserting it in the outlet with the optional. (It uses it by 40W or more. A white fluorescent lamp, the swinging lamp, and Gactomozen cannot be used. )
